Celebrate Valentine's with a Month-Long Self-Love Fest!

Ladies, you should know by now that I am all about empowering you to put yourself first. Hop up on that pedestal and wear your crown proudly because YOU are amazing! There’s no better time than now, during the month of February, the month of love… We are renaming it to the month of self-love! This Valentine’s Day, forget the romantic stuff and give yourself what you really need—self-love. You don’t need roses or chocolates or a fancy dinner to show yourself some love. Instead, why not make February your own month-long valentine? Here are some tips on how to celebrate self-love all month long.




Make Time for Yourself

It can be hard to find time for ourselves when our days are full of work, family obligations, and other demands on our time. But carving out just 10 minutes a day for yourself can do wonders for your mental well-being. Use this time however you want—take a bubble bath, read a book, take a walk outside—whatever allows you to relax and recharge.



Pamper Your Mind & Your Skin

We all want it, but do we make it so far to book the appointment? One of the major benefits of going to the spa is the pampering you receive. It’s where we relax after a hectic week. It’s where we daydream. It’s where we cut loose and laugh… loudly at times. You can spend quality time at the spa getting your facials, massages or hair styled. Not to mention the downtime spent with your stylist is ultra-therapeutic… if you know, you know!

Make Beauty Goals A Priority

Summoning Spice Girls here… “Tell me what you want, what you really really want!” If you want it, why not go for it? If you hate drawing on your eyebrows every day because no matter what, one is always lopsided, then book those brows, girlfriend! If the thought of putting on eyeliner for the rest of your life makes your eyes water, throw the eye pencils away- we have permanent eyeliner for that! Want a full-time pout? Lip blushing will make you feel va-va-vroom!! And of course, wipe away years of stress and aging with fibroblast plasma! These are the services I personally offer and you should not make you feel guilty for indulging in them. They are necessary for your mental health if you ask me! No time for bad makeup!

Give Yourself Compliments

We often spend so much time focusing on our flaws that we forget to appreciate all of our wonderful qualities as well. Take some time this month to reflect on everything that makes you unique and special—your talents, skills, personality traits—and give yourself compliments every day! Writing down these compliments can be especially helpful in boosting your self-confidence and reminding you of why you are one-of-a-kind.


Start Journaling

Journaling is one of the best ways to get in touch with your thoughts and feelings. Set aside 10 minutes every morning to write down whatever is on your mind—your worries, your plans, your desires, your hopes and your dreams. Writing down these thoughts helps you process them more clearly and gain insight into what matters most to you. Plus, it's a great way to start each day off by honoring yourself and setting the tone for the rest of the day.

This Valentine’s Day (or any other day), don’t forget that taking care of yourself is the most important thing you can do! Make February your own month-long valentine by starting a making time for yourself each day, pampering your mind and your body, going after those beauty goals, and giving yourself compliments every day! By celebrating self-love all month long, you will be sure to end February feeling more confident than ever!
