Fibroblast Plasma Aftercare Instructions

Hey ladies and gents, it's me again, Felisha, your favorite permanent makeup artist. I also happen to provide an amazing treatment for anti-aging called Fibroblast Plasma. You may have even just read my blog titled "Everything You Need To Know About Fibroblast Plasma". If you did, you're probably wondering what you do after this great service. Well, this is the blog for you!

So you’ve just experienced one of the most incredible and instantly gratifying procedures for reducing the effects of aging- fibroblast plasma. The last thing you want to do is ignore the aftercare instructions and best practices. It is important that you follow instructions for healing so that your results stay ahhhh-mazing!

After your treatment I will provide you with a take home package with aftercare instructions but here are some more rules to live by:

  • So that you do not upset your skin with any chemicals, do not wash your face on the day of treatment or even the next day. You can spot cleanse non-treated areas if need be.

  • We recommended not wearing makeup until all the scabs have fallen off and skin is completely recovered

  • Do not wax the treatment area for at least 21 days, if not longer

  • No touching, scratching, or rubbing the area- your hands often carry micro germs and you don’t want anything getting on your skin while you are healing

  • Super important: keep the scabs moist and intact by applying an occlusive ointment (like Vaseline or Aquaphor) several times a day until they're fully healed

Pro Tips:

When you resume regular face washing, use only a mild, creamy, fragrance-free formula.

For at least three weeks, refrain from using grainy scrubs; products with irritating active ingredients, like acids and retinoids; and skincare with unfamiliar ingredients that could trigger allergic reactions.

You already know you should be wearing sunscreen but I have to tell you again that one of the best practices to extending the results of this treatment is to wear 30+ SPF to help preserve collagen and prevent new wrinkles. I have brands to recommend that are my favorites if you need help picking one out. If you have questions, I am here to answer them all for you!
